I am an artist based in the Black Isle. I trained and practised as an architect for a number of years but have recently been concentrating on portraiture in a variety of media.
I primarily work in oils but can also produce pencil sketches, colour pencil drawings or digital art in a variety of sizes and formats.
An original oil painting may cost as little as £200 and i can quote for various sizes on an assortment of different surfaces - these range from paper to canvas and linen or even wooden panels.
I can work from your good quality photographs. Please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements and i can give you a more detailed estimate.
Portraiture
I can provide portraits in a variety of formats. This can include figure drawings or simple head and shoulders views. My technique captures a good likeness of the subject and i have a particular interest in shape, form and capturing the play of light across the head using expressive brush strokes and use of colour.
